So, If you are using wordpress for your website than it is going to be very easy for you to generate an XML Sitemap for your Wordpress Website because you just have to install and activate a plugin named "Yoast SEO". After activating Yoast SEO, the plugin automatically generates the XML Sitemap for you website and to check it just enter your URL in the search bar with "/sitemap_index.xml". 

For example = you have a website named example.com, so just type example.com/sitemap_index.html.

So, If you are using blogger for your website than you should know that Google automatically generates a sitemap for your blogger website but that sitemap than list only 26 URL's and so if you're website has less than 26 URL's in it than it is all good but if you're website has more than 26 URL's in it than you need to generate an external sitemap for your website and for that just click on this link - "https://www.labnol.org/blogger/sitemap/" then scroll down and enter you're websites URL then click on generate sitemap, after this you will see a code which you need to copy then go to you're blogger dashboard click on setting then search for custom robot.txt and paste it there, then save the setting. 

Here you should Know that after pasting the code in custom robot.txt, only 500 URL's will be displayed in sitemap. So if you're website has more than 500 URL's then watch the video displayed on top of this page.
